We are living in an age of pandemics so we should be cautious before letting pets in our home. They can be carriers of many kinds of germs.

If a dog is sleeping in your bed you cannot have a sound and uninterrupted sleep. Your sleep will often be interrupted because of the movements of the dog.

There is another major point if your dog has “dominance” or “territorial aggression” it would worsen when you allow your dog to sleep in your bed. When your dog has dominance or territorial aggression the thought of being the King of the bed or deserving the dominance would increase. So it would be a bad idea to let your dog sleep in your bed.

It can be dangerous for a dog too if he is sleeping in your bed because humans move in their sleep without waking up. So there is a possibility that your role over your dog. They can die of suffocation. So the best idea is to bring them a separate couch and dog blanket that may be adjusted it in your room. This couch can be customized according to the age and size of your dog as well as according to your room size so that you can easily adjust it in your bedroom.

We have discussed the pros and cons of the topic. Now the decision is all yours whether you let them sleep in your bed or not. But make sure that your dog is trained and in good health before letting him in.
