About PetRescue Blog
A community-driven platform built on real experience, genuine love for animals, and a commitment to helping every pet owner make informed decisions.
Mian Ahaal Chowdry
I'm a pet enthusiast, writer, and founder of PetRescue Blog. My journey began in Jersey City in 2019 and continued in London, where I transformed a rescue-focused blog into a community-driven platform for pet lovers. I enjoy learning about animals and sharing practical pet care knowledge while encouraging others to contribute their experiences.
What started as a personal interest in pet rescue has become a lifelong mission — to educate myself and fellow pet owners with real, practical, and compassionate guidance that makes a tangible difference in animals' lives.
The Story Behind PetRescue Blog
From a simple idea in a small apartment to a trusted resource read by thousands across the globe.
Mian Ahaal Chowdry launched PetRescue Blog from his apartment in Jersey City, initially as a personal project to document pet rescue stories and share basic care tips with fellow rescue advocates.
As the pandemic underscored the importance of pet companionship, the blog saw rapid growth. Ahaal expanded coverage to include health guides, nutrition advice, and breed-specific content — always grounded in research and firsthand experience.
Relocating to London opened doors to the UK's vibrant pet welfare community. Ahaal connected with local shelters, veterinarians, and pet organizations, bringing deeper real-world insight and authority to every article published.
PetRescue Blog evolved from a solo blog into a community-driven platform. Guest contributors, veterinarians, and experienced pet owners began sharing their knowledge, enriching the content with diverse perspectives and expertise.
Now based in London with regular time in Dubai, Ahaal brings a truly international perspective to pet care. The platform serves readers across three continents with consistent, trustworthy, and practical pet guidance.

- Vet consultation disclaimer — Our content is informational, not a substitute for professional veterinary care. We make this clear on every health-related article.
- Honest product reviews — If we recommend a product, we've evaluated it. If we use affiliate links, we disclose them transparently.
- Continuous learning — Pet science evolves. We update our content regularly to reflect the latest research and best practices.
- Community first — Reader feedback shapes our content. Your questions, corrections, and stories make this platform better.
